NATIONALLY RECOGNISED EXAMINATIONS

Nationally recognised examinations
We strongly recommend that you validate your language learning by gaining one of the following nationally recognised qualifications, most of which can be taken at the Centre. Passing these examinations will help to build your confidence and will provide an independent means of acknowledging the progress that you have made

OCR
We encourage all of our corporate students to validate their learning by taking an OCR (Oxford, Cambridge and RSA Examinations Board) or L.C.C.I. (London Chamber of Commerce) Certificate in Business Language Competence which tests their ability to do business on the telephone, entertain clients, exchange opinions, write e-mails and letters, discuss products and deliver a prepared presentation in a foreign language. Students are subject to ongoing assessment through a series of five separate examinations which rate their overall level of proficiency in terms of being either basic, survival, threshold, operational or advanced.

Examining bodies
Oxford, Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts (OCR), London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCC1), GNVQ Business certificates in foreign languages, Institute of Linguists, Alliance Francaise, Delf/Dalf (recognised by the French government), Diploma in translation.
